New Vision International Ministries is located in Kingsport, TN. While we are currently focused on the countries of Nicaragua and Honduras, we are certainly open to any doors that God may open in the future for this ministry. A Brief History of Our Ministry
Eddie Lane and his wife, Janey, the founders of New Vision, have been actively involved in foreign missions since 2001. For about two years prior to forming New Vision, Eddie had served as the Director of Central American Missions for another mission organization. Because of his priorities and obligations at home (such as running a business, involvement at church, his family to name a few), he was just not able to devote the time to travel across Central America that he felt the other organization needed and deserved. So, after much prayer, Eddie stepped down from his position with the other mission organization at the end of 2008.
God has given Eddie and Janey an undeniable burden for the countries of Nicaragua and Honduras. They each have a heart to minister to the people there… especially those who live in the most isolated and poorest communities. But they are not alone in this work. God has given New Vision a wonderful board of directors and a family of partners who continually pray for and support the ministry. Without them, the ministry would be very difficult to accomplish.
